Job purpose:
You will join QA as Assessment Specialist working within our Content team. Reporting to our Senior Assessments Manager, this person will play a pivotal role in ensuring our assessments remain the top in the industry.
You might be experienced in running your own blog in relation to one of or all of the CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES we mention?
You will have a strong technical expertise in the CLOUD Technologies of Azure, AWS and GCP.
Experience of Containerisation, Kubernetes, GEN AI, Zero Day Threats, Test Lab design.
The role and what you will be doing:
You will be ideally well versed in CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES including Azure, AWS, GCP etc and have an enthusiasm for commenting on or developing insights into new technical advancements and changes.
Write clear, accurate, and relevant assessments for QA enterprise training, including but not limited to: certification preparation exams across multiple cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud.
Write/create role-based skill assessments for a wide variety of current IT roles including Solution Architect, Software Developer, or DevOps Engineer.
Create both pre and post assessments which are formative and summative exams to assess learner progress through a sequence of modular training resources.
Coordinate with Content team members to outline quiz development priorities on a set schedule and adapt to evolving priorities based on changing IT market trends, cloud and software technology and/or enterprise training priorities.
Collaborate with the content team and engineering team members to design new assessment types.
Content Management:
Review and update existing quiz library to maintain currency with cloud platforms and QA courses
Integrate content management tasks, such as reviews and updates, into work schedule while continuing development of new content

Job Description:
Manage, with some guidance, a targeted number of learners throughout their learning journey
Encourage learners to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge in their day to day roles
Ensure learners have clear objectives termly to support their timely progression.
Provide coaching via the appropriate methods to include, Face 2 Face, Virtual, Scheduled, on demand and flexible to best support individual learner needs
Support learners through their learning journey to successful completion of their EPA
About you:

Desirable evidence of high level of experience in coaching/mentoring within Apprenticeships

What will you be doing?
As a Head of Level for our Degree Apprenticeship you will cover the remit of academic management across a year of the undergraduate degree programme, supporting the Programme Leader in coordination and planning of for the academic and apprenticeship delivery of the Programme, ensuring compliance with academic and apprenticeship standards.
Your focus:
Ensure that all associated academic and apprenticeship processes are completed in accordance with regulatory bodies (including the university partner), industry / client needs and QA best practices.
Co-ordinate and plan delivery of the of the programme
Act as the first point of contact for academic queries
Contribute to management of the academic, apprenticeship and operational relationship with the university on a day-to-day basis
Implement the University’s academic and quality assurance policies and procedures
Implement and follow processes related to the apprenticeship standards and regulatory bodies
Monitor and review student’s achievement/progression and implement additional support mechanisms when necessary
Establish and develop learning/teaching approaches to support student achievement and experience
Teach modules when appropriate
Assist with preparation for exam boards
Liaise with Module Leaders/Tutors regarding delivery, assessment, marking and management of the modules
Organise and conduct inductions for that level of the programme
Please note our role is mainly homebased with occasional travel for F2F delivery

What will you be doing?
As Deputy Programme Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Programme Leader in the leadership and academic management of the MSc Digital & Technology Specialist Degree Apprenticeship programme.
We use a blended learning approach to the delivery of our programmes, meaning that our Lecturers support learners through online content and activities, remote interactive sessions (e.g. WebEx or discussion forums) and in live-online or Face-to-Face workshops.
You will help to ensure compliance with academic and apprenticeship standards, providing a high-quality student experience and cultivating a high-calibre academic team.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the Programme Leader in the day to day running of the programmes to ensure the programme is fit for purpose & delivers an excellent learner experience
*Assist with preparation for exam boards and attend where necessary
*Liaise with Module Leaders and Lecturers regarding delivery, assessment, marking and management of modules
*Act as a point of contact for Module Leaders on the programme/s where required
*Monitor and review student’s achievement/progression, implementing additional support mechanisms as appropriate
*Deliver high-quality learning across the Digital Degree Apprenticeship programmes at Level 6 and 7.
*Development of course materials including videos for online learning, learning activities, slide decks and assessments for multiple modules within Degree Apprenticeships
*Provide in-depth expert knowledge in your subject area offering insights cross functionally when required
*Contribute to product maintenance:
-Checking existing material for accuracy
-Updating existing material - manuals and labs
-Creating new material
*Contribute to the wider team activities on assessment and teaching as required.
*Act as moderator and peer reviewer for modules on a termly basis.
*Positive ambassador for QA by performing to QA’s expected reputation for excellence and innovation
*Take ownership for own continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure up to date and relevant subject knowledge.
Criteria needed for this position
*MSc achieved in a STEM / Tech related subject
