About the role:
As a Senior BI Analyst in the QA Insights team, you will be focused on providing key data insights to our colleagues. You will be a senior member of the team delivering accurate and timely data driven analysis to stakeholders; allowing them to make informed decisions for the success of QA and our learners.
Your Responsibilities:
*Gather requirements, build/design a scope, take lead in meetings with stakeholders, test, implement, document, workshop, complete maintenance.
*Interpret and visualise data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
*Work closely with the wider data engineering team to ensure changes are implemented in line with business requirements.
*Sharing knowledge and technical expertise to improve data analysis at departmental level.
Support the BI Platform / Infrastructure, including undertaking troubleshooting, detailed investigations and fulfilling requests.
*Leverage the team to deliver fast paced and effective responses to ad hoc analysis requests and queries.
*Manage BI Roadmap delivery ensuring resource availability and appropriate effort planning is in place prior to Sprints.
*Act as a bridge between the business functions and IT ensuring clarity of requirements for our IT team. Collaborate with IT to develop and improve underlying data.
*Contribute to the development of our data repository, translating business use and processes into technical delivery while continuing our philosophy of single source reporting.
*Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
