What’s my purpose? When you join QA, your pivotal role will be to simply deliver high quality courses to our learners! This could be in a classroom or virtual setting, but we need enthusiasm and interactive courses to help get the best out of those we’re teaching! What responsibilities would I have? You’ll be delivering core PPM courses to practitioner level that is APM PMQ You’ll support us with customization of learning topics or programmes, offering your subject level expertise and utilising it You’ll contribute to QA’s success by reviewing learner evaluations and finding areas for improvement You will be providing learners with post-course support through various avenues of contact where necessary Like with most roles, you’ll need to undertake some administrative tasks too! What do I need to apply and succeed? You’ll be teaching project management courses, so we’d ask you have a APM PMQ qualification OR People Cert's Managing Successful Programmes You’ll be great in this role if you have a technical background in project management – You’ll have been a Project Manager at one point in your career! Although it would be perfect if you had training experience already, we’re all about the desire to succeed so this is preferred but not essential by any means!

Data and Software lecturer Home based About our role: As a Lecturer in the Degree Apprenticeship team in QAA you will be working with learners that are studying alongside full-time work to develop themselves in their professional specialism. We teach using Blended Learning, which means that our Lecturers support learners through the development of online content and activities, remote interactive sessions (e.g. WebEx or discussion forums) and in live-online or Face-to-Face workshop. Key Responsibilities To design and take ownership for multiple modules on the Degree Apprenticeship programmes, and to contribute to the delivery of high quality learning. This will include online support throughout the programme and delivery of a series of face-to-face live online workshops Development of course materials for a number of modules, including video for online learning, exercises, slides and assessments To contribute to the wider team activities on assessment and teaching as required. To make an active contribution to ensure this programme continues to improve, and that all Skills & Abilities Subject Areas (suggested in the Software and Data area but not limited to) Software Coding and Programming experience (Python experience essential) Full stack / Web development Automation in software development Flask Django DevOps Data Machine learning SQL Data Visualisation - Power BI Data Analytics / Statistics Your Qualifications and Knowledge Essential: A post-graduate degree (MSc) Subject specific qualifications Desirable: PhD Teaching qualification Excellent, detailed knowledge of more than one topic within the required subject areas Knowledge of Apprenticeships and work-based learning, or knowledge of Higher Education Understanding of equality and diversity issues
