Are you passionate about helping young people take their first step into work? In this role, your main focus will be to connect young people with the right Modern Apprenticeship opportunities. You’ll play a key part in our growing apprenticeships team – speaking to potential candidates, getting to know their goals, and matching them to roles where they can learn, grow, and succeed. You’ll work towards clear targets, but more importantly, you’ll be helping others start something life-changing.
- Speaking with future apprentices – You’ll chat with applicants to help them find the right Modern Apprenticeship opportunities that match their skills and goals.
- Attending careers events – You’ll visit schools, colleges, and job fairs to promote apprenticeships and meet potential applicants face-to-face.
- Carrying out interviews – You’ll chat with candidates on a one-to-one basis as part of our onboarding process, helping them feel comfortable and making sure they’re ready to take the next step into a Modern Apprenticeship.
- Helping with paperwork – You’ll guide applicants through the forms and checks needed to get started, making sure everything’s completed properly and on time.
- Keeping things organised – You’ll update our systems with all the key info about candidates and your work, helping the team stay on track.
What We’re Looking For:
- Great phone skills – You’re confident speaking on the phone and enjoy chatting with people in a professional, friendly way.
- Customer-focused – You understand what great service looks like and always aim to make a good impression.
- Positive and proactive – You bring a can-do attitude to work and are always up for learning something new.
- Team player – You’re reliable, enthusiastic, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.
- Organised with good computer skills – You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office tools like Word and Excel to keep things running smoothly.
- Call centre or similar experience (a bonus!) – If you’ve worked in a call centre, customer service, or similar setting before – great!
