Student Recruitment Sales Team Leader
Leading the Recruitment of Students into our Higher Education Programmes
Birmingham OR London based, hybrid working, with UK travel

About our role: Do you have sales &/or recruitment team leading experience ideally within the education sector?
Do you have experience to lead a small team where, with your coaching and mentoring skills you make a difference to potential students by working across different recruitment channels promoting and selling our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, giving students the potential to develop and grow their knowledge and skills to progress their career opportunities.

Our role is hybrid working with travel throughout the UK on a regular basis.
Here’s some of what’s involved: (please click through for the full JD)
Manage, coach and mentor a small team of recruiters
Engage with external clients, supporting with all queries
Engage with internal teams and act as a recruitment escalation point
Maintain and manage effective business pipeline ensuring daily KPI’s are delivered effectively
Provide first class customer service to our students, agents/representative and partners
Use honest and truthful promotion when recruiting for QA Higher Education and its partner institutions
Engage with offer holders through multiple communication channels; actively guide applicants through the entire application cycle; consult students on how to meet outstanding conditions, i.e. interviews, outstanding docs, English tests
Provide and maintain agreed turnaround times to our agents, students and client services
Go the extra mile to help students to finish applications within given deadlines, i.e. provide alternative solutions, and liaise with external institutions and wider QA team
Prioritising workload and taking initiative to continuously improve the recruitment process
Meet students on campus as and when required
Liaise with agents/representatives as and when required
Attend student recruitment events across the UK as and when required
Bring your experience:
Track record of success in sales environment, desirably in Higher Education
Ability to demonstrate success with mentoring, supporting, coaching a small team to achieve SLA’s, KPI’s and targets
Strong service orientation and communication skills that put applicants at ease and improve their application process experience
Structured and clear communication to colleagues within the team and to external representatives
Entrepreneurial flair
Confident and strong sense of direction
