Role Purpose

Responsible for the delivery of innovative professional data visualisation and engineering learning courses to individuals and organisations. Supporting the development of training courses alongside subject matter experts for our customers. 

You will be teaching the following modules:

Data Preparation and visualisation
Databases and SQL
Programming for data analysis
Data warehouses
Data Analysis and Machine Learning
Machine Learning in a Cloud Programme 

Key Responsibilities

*Deliver high quality learning courses across the Data curriculum to learners and organisations 

*Support the subject matter expert with the development of courses/other revenue generating assets 

*Provide in-depth expert knowledge in your specialist area, offering insights cross functionally when required. 

*Contributes to BAU product maintenance in terms of: 

*Checking existing material for accuracy 

*Updating existing material - manuals and labs 

*Creating new material 

*Positive ambassador for QA; performs to QA’s expected reputation for excellence and 

innovation. 

*Take ownership for own continuous professional development to ensure up to date and relevant delivery 

*Willing to work towards acting as lead trainer on Data Analytics portfolio projects, in particular digital transformation and re-skilling 

Experience needed

*Knowledge and experience of data analytics 

*Must show high level understanding of: 
-PowerBI and Desktop (including DAX)  

-Engineering data in Azure 

-Microsoft SQL databases (on-premises and within Azure) 

-C#, R or Python 

*Must show a high level of understanding around Data Management topics 
Additional subject area knowledge supporting multiple delivery programme opportunities 
Sufficient understand in learning and development as a profession 

*Teaching qualification ideal, not essential
